Jr High students will be taking a field trip tomorrow, Thursday, September 5th. We will be leaving at 8:00 and returning at 4:00. Please remind students to wear comfortable mountain clothes, good walking shoes, bring a water bottle, hat/sunglasses, and jacket/sweater. Lunch will be provided.

Volleyball is live!
Sanford Youth/JH football camp (grades 2nd-8th). Will be held Friday, August 23rd from 10:00-11:30 at the baseball field. The elementary students will be separate from the Junior High students. There will be no charge.
Parents: We are so excited to welcome our students back tomorrow for the 2024-2025 school year. Our football team will be out in front of the school at 7:30 a.m. to welcome students back and help with anything you might need. If you're not sure where your child's classroom is, just ask one of our football players. They will be in their green football jerseys. Welcome back Mustangs!
Message from ASU:
Our High School Concurrent New Student Orientation will be Sat. August 17 on the 3rd floor (Room 309) of the Student Union Building. We will begin at 9:30 AM (for light breakfast). We will then begin orientation at 10:00 AM and end at approximately 12 PM. Parking will be available in the parking lot behind Porter Hall or near the library. Please R.S.V.P as soon as possible at concurrentenrollment@adams.edu. Please bring your driver’s license in order to obtain your Adams State ID card. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Duran at kduran@sanfordschools.org.
ATTENTION Students taking Concurrent (College) Classes through Adams State University: The concurrent meeting on Thursday 8/15 has been CANCELLED. They are hosting a concurrent orientation on Saturday 8/17 and are encouraging all ASU concurrent students to attend. (If you can not make it Mrs. Duran will help you access your courses the first week of school).

They will assist students with their ASU login so that we are ready to log in to college classes next week when they start. Adams State is hosting a concurrent orientation this Saturday, August 17th. Sanford's sports physicals will be held on Monday, July 29th at 3:00 pm. In an effort to keep lines and wait times down, we ask that there be staggered arrival times as follows: LAST NAMES STARTING WITH: A-G 3:00 PM H-O 3:45 PM P-Z 4:30 PM This year it will be free of charge. A parent needs to attend with their athlete to sign the paperwork. We are also trying to send the paperwork home with your athlete to fill out ahead of time.
