Hello Sanford Nation, we are excited to return to our basketball season! With the start of the new year, we thought it would be a good time to touch base with our fans on some concerns that we have. We love the support our fans give us however, we need everyone's help with keeping our young fans safe and in the gym. Please talk to your children about staying in the gym and cheering our teams on. Wouldn't it be great if we had the largest rowdy crowd in the valley? Mrs. Mortensen and Mrs. Jaminet will be monitoring the halls and bathrooms. They will be sending students back into the gym when they find them playing in the halls, bathrooms, and anywhere they aren't suppose to be. We've had students making messes in these areas. This isn't fair to our custodial staff. We're also concerned about our students' safety. We have young children running outside in the dark unsupervised. Remember, we had an individual with a criminal background lurking outside our school last year. Sadly, no community is exempt from danger these days. Please talk to your children about these concerns and let's have a great basketball season! Go Big Green!
